Cellular Shades

Cellular shades, or honeycomb shades, also known as cellular blinds and honeycomb blinds, feature a unique honeycomb design that maximizes energy efficiency and insulates your home. The term "cell" describes each visible side pocket on a honeycomb shade. A honeycomb shade is a more energy efficient version of a pleated shade. The shade is formed of hexagonal cells placed side-to-side. They get their energy efficiency from the pockets of air that the cells create. Cellular shades come in light filtering fabrics as well as room darkening fabrics.

Of all the soft treatments available today, the honeycomb (cellular) shade is the most popular for several reasons -

1- They come in a large array of colors

2- They can be designed to be bottom-up top-down which simply means they can be raised and lowered in either direction to allow for privacy similar to that of a cafe curtain

3- They can be ordered as light filtering which allows for privacy but allows light to fill a room or they can also be totally opaque to block out all sunlight which is great for bedrooms.

Head and bottom rails and accessories will be closely coordinated to match the color of the shade, though there may be a shade difference
Light Filtering Fabrics offers complete privacy & very good heat control.

Unique 9/16" cell size is proportional on any size window, small or large.
Neutral backing for uniform exterior view
Operates on a cord system. A Clutch (Ball chain) system as well as a cordless system will soon be launched
